Borobudur Sunrise wait.

Arrived at the location in early morning. Stars were still shinning with a thin veil of clouds.

SIM cards settled on one with 4.5 GB and the other with 2GB from a shop not far from  Adisuciptop Airport. Taxi fare was bargained down from 150K to 100K (S$10)

The hotel is directly under the flight path of jets

The one bus - turnstile system. THink of MRT of only one carriage

Train in Jogja and ... we stop the car to catch Merpati in the distance ( below )

Jomblang Cave You will be lowered  60 meters below and walked through a passageway with the muddy and very slippery floor where the headlight is a must. 240 meters later you will arrive in  Goa Grubug with its 90 meters straight down the light shaft.  When clouds pass in front of the sun the shaft light will disperse and disappear.

Lower 60 meters to the floor. This is one kind of experience!

The running water sound came from the Sungei Suci river at the base of the waterfall/shaft of vertical light @Goa Grubug.

The limestone bathed with dripping calcium carbonate water resulting in  elaborate stalagmite growth

A look at the sinkhole opening 90 meters above.

We walk around the boulders to see the fresh-still- in- the- process of formation limestone

Back at the surface, I have a peep of the sinkhole from above...  danger lurks here - a 60-90 meters straight drop
