Several solar disk images from FB showing the partial eclipse from USA and the big sunspot piqued my interest to have a look here too. . Using low elevation clouds as filter i shot the following using the SX50HS handheld or using tree/ lamp post as mono-pod.

Bright sodium lights from the street spill over. They can be seen even in the air.
