Somewhere in the North

My first time there here accompanied by others. For me the objective is to tail Comet 252P2/Linear. Plenty of waiting time since Sco only raised and comet high enough after 1 am... Just a small p&s Canon G5X for star field imaging and ID and my mintron+75 f1.4

Didn't really want to do a long time lapse so here is a short one showing the '3' shaped Scorpion  in the east and Pointers and Crux on the right

By 1:30pm Mars- Antares-Saturn and general star field including the position of Comet... but the Mag 6+ comet is not there.. with  10 x70 Binos

CLose up region for the comet... but close examination and comparing star fields from PC stellarium fail to reveal the comet. => obscured by thin clouds
