Lombok Photographic Trip to
a) Scale Gunung Rinjani 3726 m and
b) Cycling on party island Gili Trawangan Island
c) Shoot Milkyway.
Using Note4, Canon SX50HS, Canon G7x (minimal), Nikon P900, EOS60D with fisheye 15mm
The Result :

| Rising Milkyway showing the brightest region in Sagittarius - Single shot It was around 9 pm most already slept in the surrounding tents. It was cold quiet and pitch dark outside. Using my head lamp i set up the tripod and remote cable on the EOS60D. The sequence was tested in the tent before we shifted it out. Sigma 15mm f2.8 ISO 3200, 20S bulb mode, lens set to manual and infinity at the mark i already knew and tested in singapore. |

| Day one we stay here - 1 hrs drive from the Rinjani Visitor Centre. |

| Our alarm system - two kept roasters in enclosure keep us aware earlier than usual |

| The Forestry Department @ Sembalun Lawang side where we registered our names etc before the climb. A glance down the registered page indicated most climbers are in their mid 20s. I am among the very few high age group. |

| Our porters doing their cooking during 'pit' stop. Gas canister and simple stove fitted in a compact pelican case. Pineapple ( nanas) is the common fruits served being easy to be tied up and you dont need water to wash once de-skinned. |

| Gili Trawangan - Almost all eateries had Wifi. Just ask for the password. We ate our lunch twice at this Greencafe. CHeap and good. 25 - 30,000 Rupiah. or $2.5 - $3 Singapore dollars. At night the empty field in front was swamped with sea food etc etc. |

| $13000 rupiah you get this fresh fish bakar for you served with white rice. |
 |
| You could literally sat at the sasak pondok and watch the sun goes down or read a book and sip Bintang Beer |

The followings are from the Sigma fisheye 15mm f2.8 on 60D body. Milky way single shot were with ISO3200, f2.8, 20S on tripod and intervelometer.
